A fence of Letniy Sad. Part two.

Saint-Petersburg

I couldn't help making only one shot of the fence. Just another one view.

Reflection near the fence of Mikhailovskiy Garden

Actually, this shot wasn't made by me. My friend Anton couldn't help taking it while he was walking near Mikhailovskiy Garden. I was very surprised when I saw this photo. It seemed like girls were trying to escape being photographed, maybe because of their religion. I guessed they were Muslims, because their hair was hidden under the headscarf, but actually the reason was another. Mikhailovskiy Garden is located just near the Church on spilled blood – one of the most beautiful sights of Saint-Petersburg. And these girls are Christians probably (women are obligated to cover their heads when they enter any Russian temples). So my friend Anton had been observing how they were trying to take the shot of each other but the sunlight prevented them to do it. So, the girls were forced to shade their faces.
