Jewish Synagogue in Saint-Petersburg

Today Hanuka starts. It's a major holiday of light and rennovation. So, I decided to illustrate this day with the help of this synagogue.

Chesmenskaja church has one of the most unusual architecture in Saint-Petersburg. It was built in honor of victory of Russian Navy over Turkish. This battle took place in Chesma bay, that's why this name was given to the church.

The day before yesterday I was at the wedding ceremony of my cousin. The event took place in very beautiful and old "Peter and Paul" cathedral which is situated in Petergof. It was very cold and chilly but sometimes sunbeams appeared and lighted the domes. It was great!
