Christmas Fair
Today we have been walking for several hours by Nevsky prospect - the main street of St. Petersburg, as you know. A Christmas fair was opened just near Alexandrovsky theatre. You could taste some hot drinks there: for instance, mulled wine and real russian sort of "sbiten" - not alcohol, with flavour of honey.
Tsar - Carpenter
This sculpture represents young Peter The Great during the process of ship building, since he had been studying a woodcraft in Holland. Sculpture is established at Admiralteysky embankment. The copy is also in Holland.
