Do you remember the song which sang the lion Simba in "Lion King" cartoon - "Oh, I just can't wait to be king"?
I paraphrase - I just can't wait New Year Holiday! It's so exciting! Crowds of people are everywhere: in the metro, in the shops, in the streets! It seems the world went mad, you know.
Yes, New Year is the main our Russian holiday! Christmas is also major holiday but not as like as New Year. By the way, vast majority (Orthodox believers) celebrates Xmas on 7-th January in our country.
